Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what to pray as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh request for us with sighs, which cannot be expressed.
Romans 8:26

For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and man, which is the man Christ Jesus
1 Timothy 2:5

Good morning in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

Friends, it was not exactly clear this morning, at first as to what was to be written in today’s post.  Although the passages were about prayer, the question remained, what about it. We know that prayer is our communication with God, yet sometimes during those periods we can get distracted. Other times we pray for things what would uplift the flesh, but not the spirit. Hence the need for a helper, the Holy Spirit, that God has placed within us.  Likewise we’re in need of a Mediator, who intercedes for us, when we’re at a loss for words, or our thoughts are jumbled, or we’re just down right confused. The idea for a mediator suggests that there is a vast difference, a gap if you will,  between what we want for ourselves and what God knows is best for us. Christ is that Mediator, the one and only one that bridges that gap.
