31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be on our side, who can be against us?
Romans 8:31 (GNV Translation Ed. 1599)
38 For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor Angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord
Romans 8:38-39 (GNV Translation Ed. 1599)
Good morning in then name of our risen Savior Jesus Christ
Friends, if you don’t understand this, or believe this than you don’t know God, or who He is. God is not only for you, He’s been in your corner ever since He created you. He spared not His only Son to be an atonement for the sins of all people, your’s included. If that is not being for you, then what can one say that would convince you?
God, our Father, is so for us, that He installed a new covenant with us which used the blood and body of Jesus Christ as the ultimate sacrifice, to bring us into remission of sins, and the instalation of a righteousness through cleansing of our sins through Christ.
Now a covenant is a solemn compact, made between two parties in this case between God and us. However, it is deeper than that as according to Webster’s Dictionary (Ed. 1913 & 1828) it is an undertaking, on sufficient consideration, in writing and under seal, (in our case sealed with the blood of Jesus), again all of which denote a mutual agreement between two parties. We then are entering into a formal agreement; a stipulation to bind ones self by contract as the terms that are expressed has a value or price. We are then not only parties to this agreement, but by extension, as is written Scripture heirs with Christ and also now sons of God.
God has presented and kept His part of this agreement and it is now up to us to do our part by accepting this grace and mercy, and seek Him, and additionally offering ourselves in holy service, our praise, and thanksgiving to Him. God’s yoke is not heavy, nor is it burdensome.
We have a victory now in all things, from the cross at Calvary. More importantly, we have the most powerful entity in all the universe, by our sides. As stated in above, who dares to fight against us, when He is fighting for us.
Friends if you have read this today, and want to be part of God’s family. If these simple words have touched your heart, then pray with me.
Father, I have come to understand you, and your ways, and I accept the sacrifice of your Son Jesus for the atonement of my sins. Cleanse me now Father, and make my sins whiter than snow. Amen.
