My Daily Meditation
Believing the Unseen

26  And eight days after, again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them. Then came Jesus, when the doors were shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
27 After said he to Thomas, Put thy finger here, and see mine hands, and put forth thine hand, and put it into my side, and be not faithless, but faithful.
28 Then Thomas answered, and said unto him, Thou art my Lord, and my God.
29 Jesus said unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou believest: blessed are they that have not seen, and have believed.
The Gospel According to John Chapter 20:26-29

2 Much every manner of way: for chiefly, because unto them were of credit committed the oracles of God.
3 For what, though some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, and every man a liar, as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy words, and overcome, when thou art judged.
22 To wit, the righteousness of God by the faith of Jesus Christ, unto all, and upon all that believe.
23 For there is no difference: for all have sinned, and are deprived of the glory of God,
24 And are justified freely by his grace, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a reconciliation through faith in his blood to declare his righteousness, by the forgiveness of the sins that are passed,
26 Through the patience of God, to show at this time his righteousness, that he might be just, and a justifier of him which is of the faith of Jesus.
The Epistle to the Romans Chapter 3:2-4, 22-26

1 Now faith is the grounds of things which are hoped for, and the evidence of things which are not seen.
2 For by it our elders were well reported of.
3 Through faith we understand that the world was ordained by the word of God, so that the things which we [e]see, are not made of things which did appear.
The Epistle to the Hebrews Chapter 11:1-3

Read One Psalm a Day
Psalm Ninety Seven

1 The Lord reigneth: let the earth rejoice: let
the multitude of the Isles be glad.
2 Clouds and darkness are round about him:
righteousness and judgment are the foundation of
his throne.
3 There shall go a fire before him, and burn up
his enemies round about.
4 His lightnings gave light unto the world: the
earth saw it and was afraid.
5 The mountains melted like wax at the presence
of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole
earth.
6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all
the people see his glory.
7 Confounded be all they that serve graven
images, and that glory in idols: worship him all ye
gods.
8 Zion heard of it, and was glad: and the daughters
of Judah rejoiced, because of thy judgments, O Lord.
9 For thou, Lord, art most High above all the
earth: thou art much exalted above all gods.
10 Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth
the souls of his Saints: he will deliver them from the
hand of the wicked.
11 Light is sown for the righteous, and joy for
the upright in heart.
12 Rejoice ye righteous in the Lord, and give thanks
for his holy remembrance.

9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night, and with my spirit within me will I seek thee in the morning: for seeing thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world shall learn righteousness.
The Book of Isaiah Chapter 26:9
