Spirit of Adoption Part 2

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the Spirit of bondage, to fear again: but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The same Spirit beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. If we be children, we are also heirs, even the heirs of God, and heirs annexed with Christ: if so be that we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him.

Good morning in the name of Christ

As is written in the OT by the Prophet Isaiah, (see above related scripture), our Creator has given us a new name. We are now known as heirs to the kingdom. If there is anything that can be better it is unknown to this writer. 

In OT, the people were descendents of Abraham and looked at him as their patriarch. Yet the Apostle Paul has now told us, that through the death of our Redeemer, Jesus, that while we are still descendents of Abraham, we’re now children of God. We have been grafted into His family, and are all now one.  

Friends, if you wish to be part of God’s family, pray with me please;

Father, I have seen Your words this morning. I cry out to You and confess my sins. I accept Your offer of grace and mercy, by acknowledging the sacrifice of Your Son Jesus Christ as atonement for my sins. Amen.
