Word of God
But he answering, said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
The Gospel According to Matthew 4:4

Psalm 16:7
Prefaced & Edited by Doktor Riktor Von Zhades

I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.

Brethren:

To meditate upon God’s word is a constant delight. Starting and ending your days in His words are most helpful to us. This editor, finds the Psalms and the Proverbs of most comfort and instruction, but that is a personal preference, albeit one that is highly recommended.

Therefore it behooves us to include Him in our thoughts daily; as it is certain that we are in His. Should not that be reciprocal? Focus on your day. Did it serve to give glory to our Creator? Did it paint you (as His proxy), in a positive light by exemplifying and emulating Him? If so, wonderful, if not, see wherein you strayed from His word, and then seek forgiveness and correction. The correction of the Lord is not so harsh (See Matthew 11:28-30), as it will drive you away, but will instead bring you closer. (Read Job 37:1-14; Proverbs 3:11; 2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 12:5-7) For as a father would of his own, so our Creator would of His own bring correction and instruction.

It is in the Gospel of Matthew* that we are told to “seek first” the kingdom of our Creator, and His righteousness and all that you need will be given unto you.

David’s personal fellowship with the Lord was his greatest joy. This was when God instructed and counseled David and told him what to do and how to do it. David even went to “night school” to learn the will of God. [The word] “Night” is plural, suggesting “dark nights” or “night after night” learning from God. The word instruct carries with it the idea of discipline and chastening, for David learned many lessons when God’s loving hand chastened him. The Lord at his right hand suggests God as his advocate and defender. With the Lord as his guide and guard, he had nothing to fear; he would not be moved. The future is your friend when Jesus is your Lord.” - Warren Wiersbe - American Pastor, theologian and educator.
