The
First Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Church at Corinth
Chapter
1:18-25
18
For that preaching of the cross is to them that perish, foolishness:
but unto us, which are saved, it is the power of God.
19
For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will
cast away the understanding of the prudent.
20
Where is the wise? where is the Scribe? where is the disputer of this
world? hath not God made the wisdom of this world foolishness?
21
For seeing the world by wisdom knew not God in the wisdom of GOD, it
pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that
believe:
22
Seeing also that the Jews require a sign, and the Grecians seek after
wisdom.
23
But we preach Christ crucified: unto the Jews, even a stumbling
block, and unto the Grecians, foolishness:
24
But unto them which are called, both of the Jews and Grecians, we
preach Christ, the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
25
For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God
is stronger than men.

Brethren:
It
is written that the fool has said there is no God and likewise
they've said, that God will not see, He will not take notice. (Read
Psalm 14:1, 53:1 10:11, 94:7)
This
is the vaunted and so called wisdom of mankind. We exalt all our
earthly knowledge as if it were something of immense value. Yet for
all our knowledge, what have we gained? From it, what does it profit
us, if it brings us further away from our Creator?
Take
note also, that with Wisdom, God founded the universe by the use of
His Word. That word, is so powerful, that it has the capacity to
fulfill Itself.
The
crucified, and risen Savior, Christ Jesus, seems foolish to those
that choose not to believe. To them, I say, please take heed friend,
for ALL will come before the throne of God on the Day of Judgment.
Beware, and be ready to meet your God.
