2 We give God thanks always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers.
4 Knowing, beloved brethren, that ye are elect of God. 5 For our Gospel was not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the holy Ghost, and in much assurance, as ye know after what manner we were among you for your sakes.
The Epistle to the Thessalonians 1:2, 4-5

Also for your meditation this day; (see notes below)
Matthew 16:13-17; Mark 8:27-30

In the latter scripture we find that Christ tells them to tell no one. In the former, He says to Peter, that the Holy Spirit has revealed to Him only what is truth and such truth could not have come from men. Hence, again the latter scripture the instructions to tell no one, for only the spirit of God can open the eyes to this fact of truth.
