Word
of God
But
he answering, said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread only,
but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Stay
my steps in thy paths, that my feet do not slide
Brethren:
Herein
is a question; how can we keep our feet from sliding? How do we keep
from going to the left or the right? The answer is in the above
quote, by trusting in our Creator to keep us upon the paths that He
has set for us. When we trod upon the straight path made for us by
His commandments and by His laws, and likewise by reading, studying
and meditating upon His word, we do and shall continue to do what is
good. This is not only for our benefits, but likewise for the
benefits of those around us.
For
we stand before the world of man for all to see. Those that would
point and mock us for our beliefs. They seek to bring us downwards
towards their own carnality, so that they may say “you humbugs”.
But when we remain grounded in His ways, that is to say, when our
beliefs are like the man that builds upon a rock (Read Luke 6:48),
we’re strong enough to withstand all that the world can throw
against us. Even more so, when we put on the armor of God, we can
then withstand all that Satan can throw against us. (Read Ephesians
6:10-18)
Friends, let the world not trouble you. Be concerned yes, but troubled nay. For we have a great God, that will walk with us through divers tribulations and trials. He will stay and not abandon us. Dr. Riktor Von Zhades - Disciple of Christ
