1 Peter 5:1-3

Editor’s note - Elders lead by, and set yourselves as an example of Christian living. Let your life, as in so much as you are able, to be exemplary and of good will towards all peoples.

1 The Elders which are among you, I beseech
which am also an Elder, and a witness of the sufferings
of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that
shall be revealed,
2 Feed the flock of God, which dependeth
upon you, caring for it not by constraint, but willingly:
not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind:
3 Not as though ye were Lords over God’s heritage,
but that ye may be examples to the flock.
