A Twelfth Plea
by Doktor Riktor Von Zhades

Fellow citizens, countrymen and women:

Only perhaps a few now can recall, but many more have read that at one time this nation could feed the world. Likewise we became an industrial powerhouse with innovations that lead to such revolutionary technologies. Many medical advances came from us, the curing of deadly diseases, and the will to see a job get done. We were indeed a blessed nation. We unashamedly, and freely worshiped our Creator and our Lord. He in turn opened all the windows of the heavens and pour the riches of them upon us, and gave us the usage of His wisdom to succeed in all our endeavors. Yet now, here we stand, a nation fractured, and almost torn asunder. Divided by so many evil forces. Spiritual forces in high places that attack the very fabric of this once God fearing nation.

Also, we have neglected our very selves. Do you not know that your very bodies are temples that house the Holy Spirit of God? Yet these temple have been allowed to decay, and fall into ruin. We have rejected His presence within ourselves, and have allowed that of the world to take hold and strangle our first love; that being of the Creator.

Hearken now to the words of the Prophet Haggai Chapter 1:2-8, and prepare to meet your God

2 'Thus speaketh HaShem of hosts, saying: This people say: The time is not come, the time that HaShem's house should be built. 3 Then came the word of HaShem by Haggai the prophet, saying: 4 'Is it a time for you yourselves to dwell in your cieled houses, while this house lieth waste? 5 Now therefore thus saith HaShem of hosts: Consider your ways. 6 Ye have sown much, and brought in little, ye eat, but ye have not enough, ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink, ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages for a bag with holes 7 Thus saith HaShem of hosts: Consider your ways. 8 Go up to the hill-country, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith HaShem.”
