The Book of Hosea
Chapter 4 Verse 6
Chapter 5 Verses 4, 15

6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:
because thou hast refused knowledge, I will also
refuse thee that thou shalt be no Priest to me: and
seeing thou hast forgotten the Law of thy God, I
will also forget thy children
4 They will not give their minds to turn unto their
God: for the spirit of fornication is in the midst of
them, and they have not known the Lord.
15 I will go, and return to my place, till they acknowledge
their fault, and seek me: in their affliction,
they will seek me diligently.

16 And at that day, saith the Lord, thou shalt call

19 And I will marry thee unto me forever: yea,
I will marry thee unto me in righteousness, and in
judgment, and in mercy, and in compassion.
20 I will even marry thee unto me in faithfulness,
and thou shalt know the Lord.

 Editor notations;
(a) That is, mine husband, knowing that I am joined to thee by
an inviolable covenant.
(b) That is, my master: which name was applied to their idols
(c)  I have included these two passages of scripture for they relate the same idea. This is to say that our Lord, is our Lord, but he also puts us higher than just servants. We are His children, His creation, and as such we are in His image. His image is of righteousness, purity. As such we then are as Paul the Apostle had written in his Second Epistle to the Corinthians, as a pure virgin bride to Christ

The Book of Hosea
Chapter 1 Verse 11

14 How much more shall the blood of Christ
which through the eternal Spirit offered himself
without fault to God, purge your conscience from
dead works, to serve the living God?
15 And for this cause is he the Mediator of the
new Testament, that through death which was for
the redemption of the transgressions that were in the
former Testament, they which were called, might
receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
