1 Who will believe our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?

2 But he shall grow up before him as a branch, and as a root out of a dry ground; he hath neither form nor beauty: when we shall see him, there shall be no form that we should desire him.

3 He is despised and rejected of men: he is a man full of sorrows, and hath experience of infirmities: we hid as it were our faces from him: he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

4 Surely, he hath born our infirmities, and carried our sorrows, yet we did judge him as plagued and smitten of God, and humbled.

5 But he was wounded for our transgressions: he was broken for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes are we healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray: we have turned every one to his own way, and the Lord hath laid upon him the iniquity of us all.

7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet did he not open his mouth: he is brought as a sheep to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearer is dumb, so he opened not his mouth.

8 He was taken out from prison, and from judgment: and who shall declare his age? for he was cut out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he plagued.

9 [m]And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no wickedness, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

10 Yet the Lord would break him and make him subject to infirmities: when he shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed and shall prolong his days, and the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied; by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many: for he shall bear their iniquities.

12 Therefore will I give him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he hath poured out his soul unto death; and he was counted with the transgressors, and he bare the sin of many, and prayed for the trespassers.

The Book of Isaiah Chapter 53:1-12

Indeed my friends, who HAS heard the report of the prophet Isaiah?  Many people who are asked do they believe in the sacrifice of Jesus have never understood it except that He was crucified. Likewise those that are aware that He died for our iniquities choose to think, that being a good person will get you into heaven. My friends, I am going to be blunt here in saying it doesn’t work that way. That is NOT God’s plan for salvation, for if it were there would have not be a need for Christ to die on the cross. NOTHING, we can do, or say in this world will get us to where God wants us to be, that is redeemed unto Himself.  As I have written time and again, our righteousness is naught by filthy rags to Him, and it is ONLY the washing away of our sins by the blood of the risen Savior that we can come into acceptance of being heirs to the Kingdom. In verse 12 we read that He prayed for the trespassers. That is US my friends as we now have an advocate before the Father, when one accepts Christ as Savior. My friends, take the word of the prophet Isaiah, take the report and believe on it, for it is the Word of God Himself. Believe on the sacrifice of Jesus, and you will be saved.

Psalm One Hundred Twenty Four

1 If the Lord had not been on our side, may Israel now say

2 If the Lord had not been on our side, when men rose up against us,

3 They had then swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us.

4 Then the waters had drowned us, and the stream had gone over our soul:

5 Then had the swelling waters gone over our soul.

6 Praised be the Lord, which hath not given us as a prey unto their teeth.

7 Our soul is escaped, even as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are delivered.

8 Our help is in the Name of the Lord, which hath made heaven and earth

The Book of Isaiah Chapter 52:6, 10

(a) Editor’s thought - The Word of God has said to all people, come, all you who are heavy burdened. Come, I am the living water. Come, I am the bread of life. Come I am the resurrection. Come, open your ears and hear the words I am saying to you. All people may come, but be forewarned, that He will return, and He will give everyone their just due, be prepared, and be right with Him. Let the blood wash you clean.

Psalm One Hundred Twenty Three

1 I lift up mine eyes to thee, that dwellest in the heavens.

2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress: so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until he have mercy upon us.

3 Have mercy unto us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for we have suffered too much contempt.

4 Our soul is filled too full of the mocking of the wealthy, and of the despitefulness of the proud.

11 Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with joy unto Zion, and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain joy and gladness: and sorrow and mourning shall flee away

The Book of Isaiah Chapter 51:11

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, neither crying, neither shall there be anymore pain: for the first things are passed.

10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and an high mountain, and he showed me that great city, that holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God

22 And I saw no Temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the Temple of it.

Psalm One Hundred Twenty Two

1 I rejoiced when they said to me, We will go into the house of the Lord.

2 Our feet shall stand in thy gates, O Jerusalem.

3 Jerusalem is built as a city, that is compact together in itself:

4 Whereunto the Tribes, even the Tribes of the Lord go up according to the testimony to Israel, to praise the Name of the Lord.

5 For there are thrones set for judgment, even the thrones of the house of David.

6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: let them prosper that love thee.

7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

8 For my brethren and neighbors’ sakes, I will wish thee now prosperity.

9 Because of the House of the Lord our God, I will procure thy wealth.

My Daily Meditation

We have all heard the expression, “the end of the road”, and in many cases it usually carries an ending that is not a happy one.  However as Christians we can look forward to the end of our road, for it doesn’t end here on earth, but in God’s eternal kingdom. Now, understand that there are two paths allegorically speaking that run side by side. One is the path of God’s righteousness, and the other the path of this world. Which path will you be taking towards your end of the road? 

4 Hearken ye unto me my people, and give ear unto me, O my people: for a Law shall proceed from me, and I will bring forth my judgment for the light of the people.

5 My righteousness is near: my salvation goeth forth, and mine arm shall judge the people: the isles shall wait for me, and shall trust unto mine arm.

6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein, shall perish in like manner: but my salvation shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

7 Hearken unto me ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my Law. Fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their rebukes.

8 For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wood: but my righteousness shall be forever, and my salvation from generation to generation

The Book of Isaiah Chapter 51:4-8

7 He that overcometh, shall inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my Son.

8 But the fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the mountains, from whence my help shall come.

2 Mine help cometh from the Lord, which hath made the heaven and the earth.

3 He will not suffer thy foot to slip: for he that keepeth thee, will not slumber.

4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel, will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shadow at thy right hand.

6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall keep thy soul.

8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out, and thy coming in from henceforth and forever. (a)

(a) Editor’s thought - In final summation from the past two days. Those that seek Him, and serve Him will be blessed in all that they endeavor to do in their lives. Will it be easy, no, for this world puts up road blocks, to hinder us in our service, but God, as stated yesterday, will sustain us through all trials, and in the end we will have the victory. As is written in the Scriptures, with God on my side, whom shall I fear, and also, that He is the same yesterday, today and forever. God’s righteousness and love is eternal. He will not see those who serve Him fail in the end. Take note of the opening statement of today’s study. Be certain of the road upon which you tred. The one that has God as your companion is THE road to be walking.

4 The Lord God hath given me a tongue of the learned, that I should know to minister a word in time to him that is weary; he will raise me up in the morning, in the morning he will waken mine ear to hear, as the learned.

5 The Lord God hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned I back.

6 I gave my back unto the smiters, and my cheeks to the nippers: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

7 For the Lord God will help me, therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.

8 He is near that justified me: who will contend with me? Let us stand together? who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.

9 Behold, the Lord God will help me: who is he that can condemn me? lo, they shall wax old as a garment: the moth shall eat them up.

10 Who is among you that feareth the Lord? let him hear the voice of his servant: he that walketh in darkness and hath no light, let him trust in the Name of the Lord, and stay upon his God.

11 Behold, all you kindle a fire, and are compassed about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand: ye shall lie down in sorrow. (a)

The Book of Isaiah Chapter 50:4-11

(a) Editor’s thought - Re: vs 4-11 - Continuing on yesterday’s ending thought that when we seek God in all things, all aspects of our lives we will do well. It is true that we will go through adversity and trials, as brought about by people and things of this world. But as Isaiah says in verse 2 of this chapter God’s arm is not shortened. He can and will rescue and sustain us through all these things we face. Seek the Lord God my friends and you will never go wrong. If you try to go it alone you will in the end come to naught but sorrow.

1 Hear ye me, O isles, and hearken, ye people from far. The Lord hath called me from the womb, and made mention of my name from my mother’s belly.

3 And said unto me, Thou art my servant Israel, for I will be glorious in thee.

4 And I said, I have labored in vain: I have spent my strength in vain and for nothing; but my judgment is with the Lord, and my work with my God.
